I love the matchmaker series. I have to be careful reading these books because I break out in uncontrollable laughter. The dialogue between the characters is so funny and real. Lex and Ian are so hot. I love the premise for their company. Trust me, you will not be disappointed in this book or The Matchmakers Playbook. I can't wait to read more by this author. Well done Rachel!

Love, love, loved this book even more than Book #1. I loved Lex and his personality and his inner struggle with his feelings for Gabi. It was funny, it was hot, it was sweet. Loved. I couldn't put it down and went back and reread it again after finishing it.

Loved this fun enemies- to - lovers story. I couldn't figure out how these two were ever gonna be able to tolerate each other, but in the end they turned out to be the perfect couple. I loved that Lex was borderline genius also, and not just an alpha male.

The banter was probably my favorite part of the book! These two had a lot of passion whether us was the bantering or the loving! I was a lil disappointed with the new video option, I didn't feel the characters matched that in the book at all, but is a cool idea!

Cute story with lots of funny dialog. Great continuation of the series and as a stand alone book. Not sure I love the video clips in the book. For me it was a distraction, not sure the characters were who I pictured so each time it took me away from the flow of the story, I prefer a picture of a place without the people so I can imagine them myself.

Who knew lex luthors kryptonite was sunshine? I absolutely loved this book, actually I think it was a lot better than book 1, could be I just like lex better than Ian... But seriously a really really good read :) happy reading ?

I really enjoyed how this story played out.
The respect the "villain" had for his best friend who didn't want to see his "sister" fall and get hurt.
How the villain and the damsel worked through everything and became best friends themselves in the end.
Great read.
I'm am now a fan.

This book was really great! The addition of the kindle in motion was awesome as well! It was really cool to get sort of a picture with thr story. :) Lex's character was great. I love a sexy, nerdy man ;) Lex and Gabi's love and war relationship was hilarious ans heartwarming. This was another job well done by Rachel!

Couldn't even open the thing. The fancy "interactive media" aspects of the Kindle version woukd just completely crash the Kindle app. I read the 1st Matchmaker book, though opted to turn off the extra media, as I felt it took away from the story for me. But thus book crashes before I can even opt to shut it off!! Super frustrating.....

Lex and Gabbi are amazing. I really enjoyed the back story on why they truly hated each other it made this so much more fun. The way Rachel wrote all of these amazing characters was great. Lex is my new fave book character!

A great second book in the series. I absolutely love Lex and Gabi together. They are hilarious, sexy and so much fun. A beautiful, fun love story! I hated for it to end. Could have used a few more epilogues!!!

Another masterpiece by the talented Rachel Van Dyken. We first met Lex and Gabi in The Matchmaker's Playbook, but we really get to know them in this book. So much more of their back stories are revealed, which had me falling more in love with each of them.

I loved this book. I enjoyed both books, but this is my favorite of the 2. I loved the witty dialog between the 2 characters. The motion aspect really enhanced the book. Funny and sexy at the same time. A must read if you like contemporary romance.

I love the banter between Lex and Gabs! They are so hot! I did appreciate the kindle in motion more now that I am used to it. All books should be this way. Rachel's writing is always so exquisite and I loved the cameo of her and her hubby!!

This was very entertaining. I enjoyed the verbal sparring between Gabi and Lex. I have been truly entertained with the "Wingmen" and the "Consequence..." series by Rachel Van Dyken. I am looking forward to listening or reading more of her books.

Rachel Van Dyken has done it again! I loved this book. The perfect complement to 'The Matchmaker's Playbook'. The back and forth between Lex and Gabi was fantastic. It shows that Ms. Van Dyken has a wicked sense of humor in her writing. Pure genius.

Well, that was... something, and nothing like I expected.

First off, this Kindle in Motion format is weird and it sucks. There are like gifs of the character's doing stuff throughout the story and it completely takes you out of the book. I frowned every time I came across one. A gif of a girl eating a grape and a guy taking his shirt off is not going to help me enjoy the story, it just pulled me out of it.

When I read a blurb with a heroine and hero hating each other, I'm one-clicking it. Even after not liking Elite, my first book by Rachel Van Dyken, I decided to give this one a shot.

It was silly, different, not a usual love-hate relationship and sometimes outrageously funny.

I'm not even sure how to begin this- my feelings with this book being all over the place.

Lex our hero is, well, maybe this quote will sum him up - "Fun Lexism: I had a really weird tendency to just throw random facts out into the universe when I was uncomfortable or nervous— which was usually never."

Lex is a genius, a computer geek, into comics, 6 foot 3, a player and majorly hot. So his character was seriously complex, and overall I liked him. Besides the stupid fat jokes he made to the heroine, which just reminded me of a pubescent boy.

Gabi is a hard-working, snarky and lovable character. She's trying to make her way through college by working for Lex and Ian's company but also having to help her parents out, which leaves her in dire straights.

They've always had a thing for each other, but Ian would kill Lex if he ever made a move, and they cover up their feelings with bicker and pretend hate.

Their relationship? Pretty hilarious at times. Never once was I buying they hated each other. But they knew how to bicker, and I was laughing pretty hard at some of the things they said.

This book was funny, quirky and different. But never once was I feeling a deep connection between the H and h. It was pretty light and built on funny banter. And at the end of the day, while the narrative was funny, it just wasn't for me. I had trouble connecting with it.

Overall, this was an entertaining story with a player/computer geek hero and a snarky heroine. The narrative was pretty funny and told in both Lex and Gabi's POVs.
